We are looking forward to the future

For the last few months, alongside teaching, we have been sitting down with a lot of notes and asking one question: how do we make our courses as accessible and as convenient as they can be for everyone who learns with us?

Some of the answers were about the training itself. Some of them, it turned out, were about everything around it. The way you find out when the next course runs. The way you hear from us between session days. Whether the things you need after you qualify are easy to lay your hands on, or buried somewhere you have to go looking.

So we are now starting to put the next phases of those changes into our online systems.

What is changing

• News that is actually up to date. Rather than the occasional update, we want to keep you in the loop as things happen, whether that is a new date, a new piece of research worth reading, or something one of our graduates is doing out in the world.
• A clearer view of upcoming courses. What is running, when, and what comes next in your pathway. All in one place, without having to email us to check, though of course you always can.
• Member-exclusive content. Material for our students that belongs to our students, in a space that is theirs.
• A faster, more engaging experience. For visitors, for current students, and for those of you who trained with us years ago and still drop in.

What is not changing

Our courses continue to run exactly as normal. Nothing about your dates, your sessions, or your support is affected by any of this.

Classes stay small, because that is not a detail we are willing to trade. It is what lets us give one-to-one support, notice when someone is quiet, and build the kind of tight, supportive group where people feel safe enough to practise properly. No system we build will ever replace that, and it is not meant to. It is meant to take the friction out of everything around it, so more of our time and yours goes on the room, the practice and the feedback.

Building all of this properly takes a bit of time, and there will be days over the coming weeks where things move, look a little different, or land in stages rather than all at once. If something is not where you expect it to be, do tell us. We would much rather hear from you than have you wondering.

We are doing this because we remember what it felt like at the start of our own journey: the uncertainty, the questions we did not know who to ask, the sense of piecing it all together alone. Anything we can do to make that path clearer for the people coming behind us is worth the effort.

To our students past, present and future, thank you for being part of this. There is a genuinely exciting stretch of road ahead, and we are glad to be walking it with you.
